Hello,

My sister just gave me this unusual rimmed Lincoln Cent to check out.

I would like to know the origin, purpose, and collector value of this coin.

Thanks,

mdpmedia

Looks to be a Dryer Coin - one that has bounced around in a commercial dryer for some time.

It is in a bezel, you could see where it is peeled back by the word "cent"
