Clear B-effect. What you're looking for is that distorted or weaker part of the rim directly opposite of the clip. It's cause because the clip prevents the rim-upsetting machine from working properly and applying pressure to that part of the rim. Sometimes it doesn't show up very strongly (or even at all) and the rim forms normally, but it's not something that's easily faked, so it's a strong sign of a real clip.
It's a real clip, no doubt - it has every effect you'd expect to see on the genuine article.
