It's been more than two years since this one last made an appearance in this thread, so it seems like a good time. Another from the classic US commemorative series (1892-1954) - the 1925 Stone Mountain half dollar. I've previously made multiple posts about this coin and some of its related ephemera (six posts in total), you can find them here: Read More: Commems Collection.

Here's one from the modern series of Canadian silver dollars - the 2012 0.9999 fine silver coin commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Calgary Stampede and features a bucking bronco as its main reverse-side design element. The scene depicted is that of the bareback bronc rodeo event; it is the work of Steve Hepburn.

This one's a silver commemorative medal struck by the US Mint vs. a commemorative coin. It was struck in 1973 as one of the offerings in the medal series sponsored by the American Revolution Bicentennial administration (ARBA). On its "Committees of Correspondence" reverse, the medal features a mounted express rider receiving the next message he is to deliver. 1973 ARBA US Bicentennial Medal I posted about the bronze version of this medal in the Philatelic-Numismatic Cover (PNC) thread just over a year ago. Check out the post if you'd like to learn more about its story, and the stories of the other medals in the series. Read it here: 1973 ARBA Bicentennial PNC.
