$7.50 today at the most glorious Chinese restaurant in the airport. While I'm thinking of it, I want to look it up and find out if it's a chain. Their orange chicken was AMAZING.
Also, I brought my mother a purse as a gift. You must never give a purse or wallet that has no money in it, because then the wallet/purse will always be empty, so I put a Sac in there. She said she plans to hold onto it and not spend it, so I'm not counting that one, but I want it noted for the record that it is, in fact, out there.
And thus, I GET TO BREAK THE NEW HUNDRED!! $94,599.50!

Let's see, I spent all in SBA/SAC dollars $14 at garage sales, $28 in gas, and gave my son $10 in spending money- $52
Leaves $94,547.50. Not sure why the .50 as I thought this was only dollars? Separate thread should be for spending $100K in half dollars.

Used a roll of Kennedy halves at the grocery store. The guy gave me a hard time and said "we don't accept these" I said it's US coinage and you have to. (may or may not be true) He calls the manager and they take the roll $94,534.50

Stopped at the bank for some dimes today and asked if they had any large dollars while I was there. I explained THREE times that I wanted LARge dollars.. but he came back with 10 rolls of small ones. I was about to say I didnt want them, but I saw that 8 of the 10 rolls had SBAs on the end, so I took them. Should be fun spending them!

I spent 6 dollars and 1 half at the ethnic food festival then 1 dollar and 2 halves at the grocery store. 8.50 total.
I also spent several $2 bills (but these don't count). Most people like the $2 bills, they look at the half dollars funny, and they don't bat an eyelash at the dollar coins. It really is time to get rid of the dollar bill!
$94,481.50 to go.
