when you guys order this set, did you reveive email confirmation? I ordered 2 sets half an hour ago, after clicking "place order" I got an order number, I was too busy to print it out, thinking it will be in email anyways, but I didn't receive any email. checking order history didn't show this order either, it's just like nothing has happened. is it normal?
====================
never mind, got email now, what a delay:)

What's the advantage in keeping the set in the original mint packaging? I know that the TPGs wouldn't grade the 25th anniversary set (or, at least, wouldn't label all the coins as part of the set) unless they were sent in the original mint packaging, but that's not the case here, is it?

There system is just overwhelmed with orders.
Give it time.

I got confirmation email too. You can log in your account and check the order history, there are records there.

Quote: I will decide if I want more than five total once I see the coins in hand If they don't start shipping until 20 days after the last order is placed it will be hard to see the coins in hand

If you keep a set in the original, unopened mint shipping box, then you can get FS labels from PGCS at anytime in the future, as long as the postmark is inside the published window. NGC ER labels are only offered to coins sent to them inside their window, but are also free. If you are not interested in FS labels or are planning to send your coins in before the windows expire then there is no reason to not open the box and examine your coins. You will always be able to get "2012 set" labels because both coins are unique to the set (at least for now). I will probably keep all sets I order past the first two in their unopened mint shipping boxes until I either decide to look at them or sell them. Somewhere down the road, sets that are still "PCGS FS eligible" may bring a premium.
My confirmation email came two minutes after my 4:03 PM ET order. The track order page contains the actual order time (in ET). They have been including the time since early June, 2005. Before that they only had the order date in the track order page.

It's a good possibility that the mint has already busted through 250K sets as of this evening.
IMO, It's a matter of time now before the 06 and 11's start being picked off slowly...my 2 cents
Also, anyone think the mint turns around and starts canceling orders greater than a certain amount of sets per order...3, 5, 10 etc,, meaning impose a household limit.

Please remember that at this time, shipping dates are pure smoke. Also, order numbers aren't 1 for 1, meaning that two order numbers that are 1000 apart don't have 999 orders between and for this set, there is no telling how many sets per order they are averaging. We will get a rough idea when the mint posts sales numbers tomorrow but it will take a few days to get any truly meaningful averages.
