Canadian Nickel - 1965 Large Beads?

Delareece Valued Member Canada 101 Posts	Posted 10/10/2012 03:08 am So, looking through a huge jar of change, I came upon this 1965 Nickel. I know theres two variations - Small Beads and Large Beads, the Large Beads being worth much, much more then the Small. I'm unsure how to tell which is which. What do I have here? I believe someone on the forum talked about this a while back. https://goccf.com/t/88805 How would you figure out if the coin is a Large Bead, not based on the jewel? I've heard that the "A" in Regina points to a dot and theres a dot in between the "II" after Elizabeth in the Large Bead variety. Is this true? If so.. The rare one is the Large Beads, detached jewel. The "even more rare" one is the Large beads/attached jewel, which is just an earlier die state of the LB/DJ. Report this Post to the Staff
