I went CRH today at my local bank and found this. Is it a Wounded Eagle?

There ain't a ton of posts in this forum. Is that because few folks search dollar coin rolls, there just ain't much to find, or both? Other than the NIFCs, wide rim 1979 SBA, and the occasional impaired proof, what is to look for? I've taken a break from CRH for a while, but haven't yet done much dollar coin CRH--is there stuff to find? Are the finds limited to cool varieties? My modern dollar coin set is mostly complete, although I've a few NIFCs yet to discover.

How do you return searched dollar coins--coin counter? rolled coins? spend 'em?

Way to go with that wounded eagle. I look for those, but I haven't found one yet.
Congrats.

I use the fare vending machines in the DC Metro stations (subway) to CRH small dollars now. I just keep putting dollar coins in and getting change out in dollar coins. That's how I found the wounded eagle. I read somewhere that the wounded eagles came from a bank in Maryland. If you look at ebay listings for wounded Eagles that are not from dealers you will see quite a few sellers from Maryland. That's where I live and where I found mine. I still wish I knew which bank in Maryland these were coming from. Now I work in DC so I have 23 Wells Fargo banks within a 2 block distance from my job. I'll walk into one, get a few $25 rolls and walk to the other to deposit them back into my account. I've done best CRH in the Metro fare machines. I've found Presidential Proofs and a lot of NIFC plus many SBA wide rims, edge lettering errors etc. I'm still hunting for a second wounded eagle because there is no way that I was that lucky. When it comes to luck I never have any so there must be more out there. For the most part I'd say 75% of the coins in the fare vending machines have never been circulated. There has been a push here to get people to accept the $1 coin so in order to do that they need to use nice looking coins. That's just my take on CRH small dollars in the DC area.

went to my bank Monday, and the person I normally get dollar coins and $2 bills from isn't there, so the new person loaded me up on $2 bills, with a few dollar and half dollar coins.

of 430 dollar coins:
54 SBA$
115 SAC$
261 Pre$

there was nothing interesting

Went through 3 rolls of small dollars:
12 SBAs
16 Sac $
47 Pres $
Out of those, I found the following NCLT: 2 2006-P Sac $, 2009-D and 2010-P NA $, 2012-P&D Arthur, and 2012-P Cleveland (first term).

So far, I've plucked out three 81-S SBA Dollars and one 1999-P SBA Dollar. I also saved all of the Sac Dollars with edge lettering and edge dates (2009-present). Are the 2009-present Sac Dollars worth keeping?

Are the 2009-present Sac Dollars worth keeping? I've been keeping them since I read here that the mintage is lower than the corresponding Presidential dollars in the same year.

They are all NIFC, so I would keep every one I found as long as they were in nice shape.

Just curious.. do the 1981 SBAs have much upside since they were only released in mint sets? I'm thinking no because the mintages are still over 3M but they are significantly lower than other years..
