Sorry guys I'm new at collecting. I believe 1979 and 1978 are called dd in canada the 1988 the die has shifted I have a 1943 tha looks the same

dd is defined as doubled dies,which is hub doubling,what you show here is Machine Doubling as stated by errorone.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Ohhh.... the 1988 is one I don't have. Time to crack open some 1988 rolls I have been sitting on, and start the hunt for a nice BU one...
