Are they different colours? Am I missing something? I was only looking at the detail before.

Redness is that amount of original colour left on a coin. There are varying degrees of redness due to wear and environmental conditions. It is still possible to have a MS copper coin with no trace of redness. The top cent would be considered Red and the bottom one Brown   Edited by chrycopaul

Okay. One is darker than the other. I don't see any red. Being colorblind really stinks sometimes. :(

I was 16 until I realized I was colorblind. I wore a green jacket for 3 years until my kids told me it was green. Same with my green pants. I couldn't see the cardinal in the tree until it moved. I've only ever seen a rainbow once, and it wasn't that impressive.
On the good side - the infantry wants me. Camouflage isn't hard to spot for us red-green colorblind guys. :) At least there's SOMETHING we're good at. :)

Very nice... The 1939 especially is a REAL looker! Always nice to have a coin nearly 70 years old that looks like it just came out of a mint roll.  |
