I thought I saw the date when I bid on it even though the seller said they couldn't make out the date. I thought it was covered with crud or corrosion so I soaked it and applied Verdi-care which is not a cure all for everything but is good for mild verdigris. Report this Post to the Staff
Conder101 Bedrock of the Community United States 17884 Posts	Posted 01/29/2013 2:41 pm In hand and with a little work I might be able to tell. Right now all I can say is 1821 to 1834. It isn't 1816 through 1821 N-1, wrong letting style on the reverse. I don't see anything that just jumps out at me to identify a specific variety, but I do see features that would allow me to eliminate a lot of varieties. then it would just be a matter of working through what was left.
