Scale Help? - Coin Community Forum

kevro22 Valued Member United States 250 Posts	Posted 02/04/2013 8:55 pm Hi all, I purchased this scale off the bay recently after reading a decent review of it on here some time ago. I got the 300g x .01 version, with the 10g calibration scale. Well it came today.. the instructions are simple, and I am somewhat familiar with scales from a past part time produce dept job, but I cannot get this one to work. It says the 10g calibration weight weighs 300g, and it says a 2.5 zinc Lincoln Cent weighs 93g. It won't even measure an Ike dollar, saying it is too heavy. I've gone through the calibrations steps a dozen times now, and can't get it. Does anyone have any idea or is familiar with this scale? I know it's a "less expensive" model, but I don't need anything elaborate - but thought this would actually work. http://www.ebay.com/itm/100-200-300...30795878633& Report this Post to the Staff

The cent should weigh 2.5 grams and I left it on the scale as I selected the various modes, and nothing came out at 2.5 anything. I probably got a lemon, but didn't know if I was missing something..
