They gave my daughter the 1795 Half Eagle replica in the pic for free, along with a 1943 steel cent and no-date Buffalo nickel. They cut us a great deal, $35 for everything.
As always, my daughter had a blast. It was a great afternoon treasure hunting with one of my little treasures.
Nice deal on the coins and a good way to bond with your child. Those coin hunting memories will be great for both of you. Sounds like an all around good day!
Thanks, everyone. I have to decide if we're going to wait for the 7070-revised or just put 2x2 flips into regular album pages so we can better enjoy the coins.
That is awesome Cheezyfryes, I do the same with my 7 year old grandson. I have basically two collections, the good one for much later when he grows up and the collection where he can actually hold the coins in his hands. He already like the feel of the real money to the coins in our pockets today!! Plus I think when he can touch them he so far has not lost interest when he started at the age of your daughter. Keep the collective fire burning, you are certainly on your way to a great collection!
