Hello! I was asked to ID this coin for someone however I am really struggling on it . When I first saw it I though it would be a nice easy ID with the Beata tranqillitas reverse but I was proved wrong. I was thinking its possibly Crispus?
Anyone able to help me out?

I don't think it is that one. The picture I put up seems to show a radiate bust where as the wildwinds example shows a helmeted bust?

It definitely looks like MSI, I don't have the coin 'in hand' so I can only really go by the pictures.

Constantine II?, after the break in the obverse legend I think it says NVS IVN NC.

CONSTANTI-NVS IVN NC
BEAT TRA-NQLITAS

Similar example, looking again not sure if it could also be RIC VII London 255 or 257. Bust styles are the difference, you might need to look at a few examples to be sure what yours is.

I have been given an opportunity to purchase this coin. Going by the condition of it what would be a fair offer on a coin like this?

In this condition despite being unusual its still only worth a couple of quid unfortunately. Maybe if you know exactly where it was found you could justify a fiver but thats about it.
