Hello. I bought this dollar for 54$ with shipping. Die cracks in my opinion are pretty good, also 7/8 TF is nicely visible. Can you grade this coin for me? What do you think about price I paid? Was not too high?

It is indeed the VAM 40. It's not very rare and I think you paid an OK price for this XF-AU example. It could just be the photos, but to me the color looks a bit off (flat). If it has been cleaned you may have overpaid a bit.

thusdayclub,

It appears to be "wiped". That's when someone rubs the surface with a cloth. I leaves hairline scratches and is considered "cleaned". It's still a decent price for this coin.

I agree with Nut, it often takes a few submittles for those that are asked to quide them to a VAM or grade.....then later the better pic of the coins true nature appears and then we see the light....still a nice coin.a VAM for the collection and not so OVERLY priced. as time goes by......
