What Is This Below MM? Possible MM Die? 1995 Kennedy

Vgwillm New Member United States 25 Posts	Posted 05/24/2013 04:21 am So I have never seen this before. The spot looks like it is a mint mark die that was broken off in the coin. I don't think this can happen however it is solid and on the back side of the coin it look like a "D" mint mark punch. Anyone seen this before? Any ideas what it is? Report this Post to the Staff

Vgwillm New Member United States 25 Posts	Posted 05/24/2013 3:24 pm At first I thought tht it was PMD however it is not drilled. If it is PMD someone tried to Punch it which doesn't show the normal punch damage on the coin. The piece of metal is flush with the coin. I will have to look up flat bottom reamer, don't know what that is. You guys have seen more PMD than I have so I gues it is that is what it is. Thanks guys. Report this Post to the Staff
