I have this 1983 Penny that has no shine and almost looks black. It is this way on front, back, and edge. The pictures show it next to a regular dime. What are your thoughts on this?

Probably spent some time outside, maybe even buried. Exposure to the elements/soil can discolor copper-nickel coins in this way.

Burnt/colored with a black magic marker/paint? Who knows. Rim look like that also?
