So Tell Me About This "continental Currency"

jsky Valued Member United States 103 Posts	Posted 11/20/2014 3:33 pm After several years of emptying my wallet on US coinage (which I don't regret at all), I've covered many of the dates from the early 1800s to now. I've been doing some research on the historical significance of continental currency, and I think buying a continental note would be a much more affordable way to finish off my collection than 1700s coinage. So anyway, I plan on scanning ebay for one. What I want to ask here is if I plan on spending $50 or less, what are some nice dates/types that aren't sought after just because of their rarity? And how can I be 100% sure what I'm bidding on is genuine? Thanks, I really appreciate everyone's dedication and insight on these forums.
