I would say MS62 possibly 63. Is it a VAM-9A?

Yes, it appears to be a VAM-9A. It's hard to see the S in person, let alone in pictures. It's definitely there though.

Tough call. That gouge on the breast is consistent with circulation; for that reason I couldn't call the coin Mint State at all. If we call it Mint State, 63-64 would do it.

MS 62 or 63. The details are not all the best the the fields... so clean! (maybe the lighting?)

I honestly wouldn't pay to encapsulate this one. Mottled gold tone indicative of past dip.

Thanks, everyone. NGC graded it at MS-64. To me it looks a bit better than that in person, but I really struggle with MS coins. After reading your comments, I'll leave it as is.

1921-S takes a big price jump to MS65. They'd be hesitant to upgrade a 64.

Were did the MM go? I don't see it.Should be above the D & O in dollar on the reverse, Right?
