I picked myself up an early Christmas present and wanted to see what the CCF Members thought of her in comparison to PCGS. Thank you for your interest! (sellers images) Edited by oih82w8 12/01/2014 2:34 pm

Very nice coin. Not sure what is going on under the date in the denticles but the coin looks nearly hit free. I like at MS65R or maybe MS65RB because it has toned. nlp

This coin is copper-nickel. RD designations don't apply.
I'll say MS65. that's a nice coin!

MS-64. Much nicer than the one I picked up recently that was AU-58.
Are you going to crack it out?

Lovely coin indeed.
What is going on with the obverse denticles below the date?
I say MS64.

The CCF was a little more forgiving than PCGS, but it is the Top Pop (only two are attributed through PCGS an AU58 and this one from the Beach Indians - The Number One Finest Set of All Time - retired). Quote: What is going on with the obverse denticles below the date? (images from Indiancent.com (Rick Snow)) "The misplacing of the date is visible toward the lower portion of the 8 digit on the date and above the denticles on the rim of the coin. Two slight large curvatures are visible which appear to be the top of the 8 and 6 digit designs of the date." http://www.pcgscoinfacts.com/Coin/D...6/63?redir=t

I wonder if this one would be a good candidate for possible regrade consideration? I am going to send it (and a few others) for TrueView imaging anyway. Just did a quick online submission form for a single regrade; $69
