Each to his own Echizento . Money is usually not a problem for me it's just a complete lack of interest in most other Ancients. I currently am more than happy with my Roman Imperials , heck if I ever get tired of the Imperial issues I can always collect the Aes Grave coinage and Aes Rude money/bricks of bronze

Don't get me wrong I have nothing against Roman coins I have not stopped collecting them and would love to complete at least one of each emperor, thou I know that's a pretty impossible task. It's just that my interests have expanded and I enjoy learning the history of these other cultures.

I understand , it's just I really like my Roman issues and will most likely stick to them. This coin is late Roman my guess from 380-405. I initially thought it was earlier, so Theodosius I

Aug Max, Impressive Theodosius I. This is a larger coin for the day. About 23 mm x 5.6g.

Seems to be early Byzantine rather than Roman (but what do I know), so let me guess:

Maurice Tiberius?

And your guess would be correct. For me personally the death of Maurice Tiberius marks the end of late antiquity
