g048406 Pillar of the Community 861 Posts	Posted 03/17/2015 8:24 pm Newbie, wanna-be crook, summebalbria, has a wonderful 1893 Morgan PCGS PR-64 for sale on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/32169701971...RK:MEBIDX:IT Supposedly bought from Heritage a couple of weeks ago for $3,407.50: http://coins.ha.com/itm/morgan-doll.../1218-4075.s What the heck happened to that coin?.....either this guy took the coin out of the holder and stuck it in the washing machine for 2 weeks or, he made a phony PCGS holder in his basement and inserted a worn-out VF in it. These fake PCGS holders are very good. Report this Post to the Staff

Lucky Cuss Pillar of the Community United States 4883 Posts	Posted 03/18/2015 09:52 am Rather than this scammer putting a real coin in a holder he fabricated, I think it's more likely the coin with holder may well be a fake that came that way from China - they've become quite adept at rather quickly making up "certified" coins bearing the correct numbers once that information is out there.
