matttheriley Pillar of the Community United States 1512 Posts	Posted 04/01/2015 2:13 pm From what I can find on the web, I believe the Germans minted a medal with a nude Germania / Liberty riding on horseback, carrying a torch, to celebrate their taking of Paris (which didn't actually come to pass). The Brits made this medal as a propaganda piece to mock the Germans for their failure in taking Paris. Report this Post to the Staff
