It's amazing how much detail is put into those coins. I thought I would add another rupee of mine from Hyderabad. 1 Rupee AH1278 (1861) Afzal-ad-Daula

Elichpur was one of the many feudatory states to Hyderabad. A Tiger with raised tail is a constant feature of their coins.Mint name appears on the other side in Persoarabic script. (Some coins with the same tiger but with script in different language and style are also encountered. Their attribution is still ambiguous)

Drnsreedhar: I am guilty of having returned to this thread, and even more so to your 14-page "Coins of India - Mughal Coins" thread, many, many times over the past year or so to consult images/attributions - without ever having chimed in before to say thank you for the extensive research and documentation that you provide us here. These threads are important attribution tools that I have had bookmarked for some time. What a help they have been!
So, a belated thank you! Great work!
