This is one of the "certified" sets I picked up at an auction recently. My loupe isn't that great, and, since this is encapsulated, I can't get a good pic, but, does this 43S quarter look like a doubled die? My eyes are going buggy looking at Wexlers and Google pics about double die varieties for this year and mint!

I'm not seeing a DDO either. Here's a 1943-S DDO quarter's characteristics

1943-S-Double-Die-Obverse-Quarter-In-This-1943-S-WW2-Set?

Best doubling is on the 1 and 9 in the date "1943", and the TR in "IN GOD WE TRUST"

I don't think I see any hub doubling on this one. Looks like MD on the 9. The DDO's were a lot stronger that I've seen for this year.
