I would say the date and liberty on the obverse show signs of a weak strike rather than wear. However I am not as familiar with this issue so please take my grading and assessment with a grain of salt. Report this Post to the Staff

CuprousCoin Valued Member United States 226 Posts	Posted 02/26/2008 11:35 am I feel this coin is a very good canidate for uncirculated although weakly struck. there appears to be virtually no "rub" as luster remains on the high points. Hard to tell without actually tilting under good light with a good loupe in hand. Check the coin edge, as I have found that truly uncirculated coins will have edges that show no signs of wear, Whereas even an AU58 coin will have some signs of rub on the edge. JMO.
