I missed the Mercury dime sale earlier this year with 125K sold (~$180) within an hour, with a family limit of five. To get mine, new unwrapped, from an ebay seller I paid $270. So today I wasn't going to miss a US Mint sale for the 1/4 oz Liberty Standing. The sale was for 100k, limit 1, at $490. Naturally, 100k people were all trying to beat the clock at the same time. It took 24 minutes to get my order thru. On-line sellers are already pre-selling slabbed MS70 & 69 at a $200 mark-up.
WITH A LIMIT OF ONE (1) How do they get their stock? Do resellers have a back door ordering method? If they had family, friends, employees buy they may come up with 20 - 30 pieces. Not really a marketable stock in my opinion. Any REAL answers out there?

They pay people to make the purchase. Simple as that.

Also, here is an existing topic on the Quarter released today...

I got an offer in my email that would have paid $50 extra to purchase one and send to them. So yes, some dealers do get extra stock that way.
