I am looking to pick up some ancient coins as a counterpoint to my main collection. In this endeavor I have been causally perusing ancients on ebay. I have noticed that there are a fair amount of coins, such as several this seller has, that look like they were made by Pine Tree Castings*.

I have seen some far worse looking than these . So my question is in two parts..
Is this coin authentic?
Was Investment Casting used to make ancient bronze and/or silver coins?

Well it just might help if a added the link....

Looks perfectly okay. Just a little corrosion that pitted some of the surfaces.

So happy to see a reported item being confirmed as authentic. I know there are a lot of bad people out there doing bad things, it's good to see at least one is okay.
