I'm not sure how it's a "Maytag wonder." This looks more like intentional PMD than a Dryer Coin to me. Sanding mainly along the rims, and a bit on the obverse design.

Hmm the wife got an LMC the other day that has extreme wear like this. I thought it could be a grinder coin...but looking at this makes me wonder now. Might have to post some pictures of it.

Ah, okay. I wasn't sure about the mention of Maytag, as I usually associate washers with them. I them assumed that they must make drying machines too. It looks like MontCollector was thrown off as well!
