When I was kid collecting quarters 40 years ago, the 1927-s was unobtanium unless you had lots of cash. Would have killed to get one for a few bucks just to fill the album.

Seems like the market for this kind of thing is not what it once was ...

It's a long way from a closed sale since the lot doesn't end for 5+ more days. Visit it after the auction is over and I'm sure it will be far above a cheap price.

I had 13 lots close Sunday that started at 99 cents each and no reserve.

1 day before closing they had $67 in bids. 1 hour before closing the total for all 13 was at $146. An hour later when the lots had closed the prices totaled over $600.

Auction values hold no value until the lots have closed.

The higher grade 27s still brings a good amount but seems like ebay brought out a lot more low grade semi key and key dates.

Of course, ebay doesn't decide what they list - their users do.
