1983 P Kennedy Half Dollar Error?

I don't think it's an error but I thought I would post it to see what exactly is wrong with it.

It's a Misaligned Die (MAD) with a small Rim Fin (where you see the "doubled" rim) -

Would it be worth keeping or just a common coin?

That would be up to you. Generally they don't command a premium over face untill there is no rim on the opposite side and the letters might start being affected. I save cents and nickel MAD's but to tell you the truth have never seen a Kennedy like that.

It's worth keeping as an example, although I don't think the value would exceed more than a couple dollars.

If it was me, I would still keep it because a great example of a MAD (Misaligned Die). Pretty cool find. :)
