Strange to see a die crack that straight - a few more pics wouldn't hurt to help figure it out!

Well first, is it raised from the surface or below it? You can feel with a light finger brush.

It does not look like a die crack to me judging by the pics.it looks incuse with some metal displacement, struck through? it is possible but so far it looks more like a scratch/damage.Can we see the closer photo of the whole reverse without glare? it would help.

I agree that better pics might help a little, but it really does not look like a die crack to me. Rather, it looks like someone ran a sharp point along a ruler. This scratch is almost straight, with the one exception being where that point "bounced" off of the shoulder of the number 0 in the date. It looks to me like there is extra metal piled up on one side of the cut mark.

Coin damage by a blade as mentioned by others. Looks like glue on the Half dollar. The mental when cut into by a blade, does make a trench, but the displace metal raises on each side of the trench.

Looks like you have two 'Freddy Kreuger" coins. Spendable
