My wife had bought these coins a while back and I was looking through one and found a very interesting set of marks. There were 6 in a row and the first four had the marks shown on the image of the 4 coins. The closer shot is of two of them and then I did one close up. All 4 are the same in the same positon. The other two in this series has what appeared to be a discoloration at exactly the same place as the flaws on the other four but there was no chip in them. I wonder if this is some instance of when a die was going bad and evenually they made the flaw. What do you think. Thanks Rich
I believe you are correct E and V. I wonder if they caught it after these coins or they are just oddly put together in the same tube? Not sure of value aspect but unique. Thanks
Very unique. This is the Reverse of one of the same coins that I just posted but has what I think is an obvious strike through of a piece of wire on the die.
