The 1921-P Morgan has been in my family for many years. I believe this Morgan may be a Variety. The Morgan has exceptional detail on both the Obverse and Reverse. It may also be in a different category. I counted 157 grooves instead of the 189 and 17 berries in the Reverse Wreath but may be wrong. If someone could evaluate and give there opinion as to what it may be, I would be greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
I hate being the bearer of bad news, but your coin is not genuine. It's a copy. You can verify this if you have a digital scale. Genuine Morgan dollars in this grade would weigh between 26 to 26.7 grams. I would guess that this one weighs between 17~22 grams.
The difficulty in describing the exact reasons why this one is certainly fake lies in the fact that everything is wrong. It's all fairly subtle - except the lettering, which isn't even close - but quite literally not_a_single_detail is a good match for what appears on an actual 1921 Morgan. Your best bet is to bring up a "good" example from either Heritage or PCGS CoinFacts and start comparing details. Wherever you look, you will find the small differences
