scurry64 Pillar of the Community United States 900 Posts	Posted 03/09/2018 1:49 pm I am thinking about buying this coin. The price is right for the grade -- $16.15 and free shipping. I am, however, bothered by the apparent discoloration/toning. I don't know if it's the coin, or the holder and PCGS does not have images of this coin. I firmly believe in buying the coin, not the holder. In fact if I buy this coin, I will crack it out and put it in my CAPS album. Please help me make a decision on this coin. If it's on the coin, it appears to be very light verdigris layer. I've removed that type of verdigris in under 5 seconds with VC, it comes right off. Lincoln Cent Lover!
