SilverDollar2017 Pillar of the Community United States 8715 Posts	Posted 03/26/2018 12:25 pm The only thing I know of is the mintmark - P, D, or S - that shows where the coin is made. P is Philadelphia, PA, D is Denver, CO, and S is San Francisco, CA. If there is no mintmark, the coin was minted in Philadelphia, PA.
