I just eceived this week a selection of UK 10p circulation coins of mostly varieties from a Aussie in UK. They include:

1992 Die Varieties :-
BAW
BAF
ABF
BBF
AAF
where the first A and B refer to obverse, second A and B to the reverse and W and F to the rim edge.
A = at a dot - IL&A in ELIZABETH point at a dot around the rim.
B = between dots - IL&A in ELIZABETH point between dots.
A = at a dot - 1 of 10 points at a dot.
B = between dots - 1 of 10 points between dots.
W = 'wire' edge to coin rim.
F = flat edge to coin rim.

Then I have 1995, 1996 and 1997 which are all one variety - AA not sure about edge type.

The Obverse effigy then changes to that by Ian Rank-Broadley.

And I have 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 where the 1 of 10 on reverse points at a dot. And 2006 and 2007 where the 1 of 10 points between dots.

Then 2005 die varieties where the 1 of 10 points at a dot and 1 of 10 points between dots. I have another 2006 on the way where the 1 of 10 points at a dot.

Are these the only 10p varieties to be found? What other decimal coin die varieties are out there? Any info appreciated.

Wayne
