I also have a 64 Denver minted Kennedy half that shows the same. Problem is, it is encapsulated. Because its in the case would the picture trick me? I would rather not take out of the case
It is MD. The biggest clue? The area you view as doubling is lower than normal than the normal devices. Always a clue. On a doubled die, the spread area is the same height, not flat, not reduced, but showing the spread as enlarged. The lower area of the MD is the clue as to it not being a doubled die on that area.
