The spots "turn me off". Even at 9$ I don't think it's worth it.

Once you buy it those spots will look worse every time you look at the coin. You'll then be asking yourself "WHY did I buy this?"

No way to clear that spots with classical methods, it's metal damage?

Agree. Chances of this cleaning up nicely don't seem very good.

If it's some kind of residue like tar, it might come off with an acetone soak, but if you're considering buying it, I would presume that it won't come off.

Well... Seller had some more coins I want for a lower that average price, so I picked them and that nickel... And won, after making some cleaning.
