MRWISKER, nice piece of history you are showing in your latest finds for your collection. I know what the mint says they produced, but has anyone ever sat down to get a better grip on what is actually left for collectors after all melting lost at sea or in jewelry, and the like? I have heard that due to the economy, a lot of coins are finding their way into circulation again. But, it is always mind boggling to go to a major show and see waves and waves of coins. And this is only the one show, think about the others in stores and collections all over the USA and world. Sure there are natural rarities due to low mintage, but are there other rarities due to other actions? I know this won't get answered, but one can't help and wonder what is out there or not.

I received 5 Lincoln Splitters and one 1950 D Wheat Cent all in the same day yesterday in "change received" !
AND I received two nice 2009 P Mint Nickels from a very kind CCF member in my mailbox on Saturday.

Considering I can't afford to buy much right now...... THIS WAS A MARVELOUS WEEKEND FOR ME !

**(does anyone use the word "marvelous" anymore )**

MrWisker! Those are some very nice type coins!

I've been hunting Buffalo. Rather than duplicate my post,
I have pictures in the BST section of the 12 I shot down out of the 13 I still needed. Last one is a 1917 S in Fine. I saw it go over there grazing behind that hill.
Here's the link.

Nothing terribly amazing or valuable, but much appreciated by me nonetheless:

1807 if you can't make it out. My first Draped Bust Half Cent...it's a start.

It doesn't show in the photograph, but the reverse has an amazing electric green tone.
