Just bought my first 2009 pair of P & D Jefferson's [eBayItem]120471108522[/eBayItem] but they are the Satin Finish mint set examples. I need them anyway, since I have to have one of every Jefferson minted. Still waiting on a 2009 D. I'll post pictures when they arrive. This seller was very nice in communication. I am expecting good examples to arrive mid October. Just picked up a few nice coins besides a 1858 Trime, and 1876 3 cent nickel and an 1862 CN Indian Head cent, these were worth taking pictures of. 1867 No Rays Shield Nickel 1875 S Twenty Cents

Nice Wheezy! You dusting off the 7070? I have noticed that you seem to have an insatiable appetite for Nickels

This is a little sharpened up in picasa photo. The surfaces are a little bit more smooth. I thought this was an odd looking coin. But I liked it, so I bought it.

This is too weird. I often find nickels and dimes and cents on the floor of the bus after all the kids are done coming or going to school. Only a coin collector who is also a bus driver would find something like this on the floor. 2005 D encased Zincoln GEM BU. The pictures are pretty bad but this is sealed, not like a Kointain and it is domed with a flanged seam around the edge. It has a bit of an aged or yellow tint to it. Maybe it was a part of a costume or other article of clothing or jewelry. But it sure was weird to find change on the bus today in a holder. I'll see if anyone mentions it. If they do, I'll ask them if they collect coins. The HS Band was on the bus over the weekend too so it might have come from a band member. LATE EDIT: Nobody asked about it so it's mine ... all mine!

I just got these ones from my Mom (She's great, I love her!!) from an antique shop in Anacortes Washington. I've been told 3rd Century AD (Constintine or his sons). There were two more there in better shape so I picked them up too but haven't had time to photograph them yet.

Just impulsively bought this fresh buy it now listing figuring it would fly fast if I didn't nab it. 13 bucks to the door described as XF, but could maybe be AU-50+ key date Jefferson 1939 D. Regardless, the price was right. I just can't have enough 1939 D nickels I guess. LATE EDIT:Might as well add today's 1952 Proof nickel I bought for under 12 bucks shipped. I passed up a 25 dollar 1950 proof from the same seller which is cheap but it had a scuff or ding that was staring back at me.

Here's one of my latest. It is for my former Soviet (including pre- and post-Soviet eras) collection. Yes, guilty, I have more than one coin collection but, I think, most of you would understand.

Hate to bore people but I got 4 more coins on the way. A 1955 Proof Quarter listed as Uncirculated in a generic slab 11.11 shipped A NGC graded 1946 D Jefferson toned MS-65 4.75 shipped. Two "lets make a deal" 1950 D nickels 9 bucks each plus shipping. 1946 D arrived better than the images show. Add these too 1874 3CN AU-58 from Zohar is on the way Yet another 1950 D
