Here's a couple new acquisitions... Posting a couple others in the World coin pages. Got the first for bv, a 1965 G Five Mark. Turned out it is a proof coin that's been through some mishandling. But the toning's lovely. Found this next one in a grab bag! German 1876 J 1 Pfennig.

I started a 7070 a few weeks ago with some inherited coins from my wife's grandfather and some given to us by her aunt. We added to it when we got back home from our personal collection and then recently with other inherited coins from my grandfather and uncle. Since they're all quite circulated, I've been been filling in the spaces with other well-loved (ie, highly circulated & low cost) coins. Here are my latest acquisitions: 1851 Large Cent 1852 3 Cent Silver 1853 Seated Liberty quarter 1865 2 Cent Piece 1868 Shield nickel 1834 Capped Bust Dime (I think this is currently my oldest US coin!)

This is a great section, I'd like to comment on just about every coin I see in here, but I can't. It would take up to much room and be a lot of nice this and that, ooooo's and ahhhhhh's, so just ONE BIG WOW for all the stuff I get to see in here. Hey Moe, I just got this Seated Half myself. I think it is CH VF-30, maybe if LIBERTY was a bit sharper to match the rest of it could have been XF -40 no problem?
