Well my buy of the week was actually 3 coins! Buffalo nickels dated 1915P in Unc. and a 1914P in AU. Those were the two I specifically wanted but my dealer bought a 1919S in VF while I was still there so it HAD to come home with me as well! Did I need any of the 3? Well no but I am working on my 3rd and 4th sets and all extras I manage to pick up will be just that---EXTRAS!

Beautiful coins, fengk. I like the Half Cent and 1848 cent best.

My buy of the week was a 1893-O Barber dime in fine or better. I think I got a steal at $55.

Thanks, but I didn't buy the Half Cent. I thought about it, but since it was a lower grade than I wanted for that hole in my 7070, I decided to pass. The bust half is really nice when you get a picture of it alone, as is the large cent.

My latest acquisition is a nice 1834 Capped Bust AU55. This is my first Capped Bust so needless to say I am excited. I only wish it wasn't slabbed so I could see the lettered edge.

I think NGC should put all lettered edge coins in their clear insert holders instead of the white ones so you can see the lettered edge of the coin

Picked up an 1852 Silver Three Cent Piece today. This is the first silver one I've bought.
Also, bought an 1875-S Liberty Seated Twenty Cent Piece. This, too, is a first. I've had my eye out for one that was within my price range for quite some time - finally got it.
I'll post scans when I've got them in my hot little hands.

Ok here is my buy of the week. the thing is the coin are not for me. they are a Christmas gift for my Grandma, When I talked to here over the summer she told me that she buys coin here and there from ads or off TV. SO I deside this year I would buy my Grandma here Birth year set which is 1929. SO I went to one of my local coin shops and I already had the 1929-S Wheatback, so here is what I bouhgt a 1929-S Buffalo nickel,1929-S Mercury dime that one accualy went into my Mercury dime set it was nicer then the one I had so I upgraded. Also bouhgt 1929-S Standing Libery Quarter and a 1929-S Walking Libery Half Dollar. So I was able to get all 1929-S which I was happy. Got all of them plus the 5 coin holder for less then 20.00 So It was not for me but still fun buying them. I am not allowed to go to my normal dealer or buy any coin for my self right now tell after Christmas since my wife and other in my family usally get stuff of of my want list there.
