I think it is probably due to many more high points of same height of the design being ale to protect the fields. That seen the be the case with this coin. moxking Rest in Peace United States 17900 Posts	Posted 06/22/2019 12:36 am MS 62. Eye Appeal 6/10. Fingerprints don't alter an MS grade but they do change the eye appeal and value. Many folks just pass on that type of old fingerprint. Report this Post to the Staff

Jaobler Pillar of the Community United States 6396 Posts	Posted 06/22/2019 11:05 pm I see friction on Liberty's breast and cheek, plus rub in the right obverse field which has diminished the luster. The reverse looks fully mint state, with strong luster and a slightly incomplete strike on the eagle's left (facing) claw. In addition to the fingerprint there are several faint obverse scratches but nothing that rises to the level of a "problem". I'd call it AU-58 but I wouldn't be shocked by an MS-63 from the grading service. Report this Post to the Staff
