I am not sure if this was once stuck on jewlrey? The placement of whatever the material is, definitely suggests it. I'm still learning and havent seen this yet. I would love if someone can tell me what this is! Thank you :)

Yes, it looks like it was soldered to something else.

Maybe soldered to a pinback, button, tie clasp or cuff link. Those are the usual suspects.

Agreed. I actually have a matching set of counterstamped LWCs that are soldered cuff links.
