Cool, that I guessed right

And, here's my coin (unfortunately coin from my collection looks quiet unreadable so I show also picture from some numismatic portal):

My coin:

And how this coin looks in perfect quality (I've only edited a little bit the photo):

Interesting...the styling of the figure establishes a time period, perhaps even a region?
I'll give this one a shot

snowman, you are right - your turn!
But why you are so long thought about this coins, I don't know - in my opinion I chose a well-known coin

I knew where the coin was from, but didn't know the denomination, reference number, etc. I finally had some free time to research the specifics until last night.

Here's round #20:

I'd just IDed an Iranian coin for DagonX, and the page of Krause happened to be open there - otherwise, I wouldn't have had a clue!

Iran, Republic, 250 rials, non-bimetallic (KM 1268).

OK, I'm off to bed now, so rather than wait for confirmation, here's my next one. Since we've been defacing coinage, I though I'd have a go at using the "clone" button on my graphics program. The country's name has been removed from this one...

Oh man, I thought for sure I'd stump you guys with the lotus flower! Oh well, Sap is obviously right with that one.

A funny story: I put off buying a set of coins from the country that Sap just posted above for years. The week that I finally caved in and bought them I also bought a bulk lot of 300 coins. Guess what was in the lot? Now I have two complete sets. I'll hold off posting an answer for this one and let some one else have a go at it.
