Looking at it again, it might be. How does mint mark positioning match up? Can we get a crisper close up of the date? I'm wondering if the direction of the line in the 2 is affected by a hit or something else. (I hope you don't mind if I borrow your picture here)

Red arrow represents the supposed hit/flow, and blue arrow shows where the line continues.

Now that I do some more research, the gouge looks too far north to be the overdate. I think stoneman's call was correct on this one.

I think you guys are right. If the grade was much higher, I might fight it but it's not.
