i literally just found this and I don't know if this is worth anything so I wanted to get opinions. I really don't know much about the newer quarter errors but this looks like an error to me. any and all opinions would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance to those who do respond!

Good eye! Looks like a nice size die chip! Some call it a hornets nest. Not worth much but an interesting find.

to CCF. It is a nice die chip and worth a bit more than face value. Check ebay sold values to see if any have sold.

Is the mark in question raised above the surface of the coin, or recessed into the surface?
