Found a couple B/U coins in a roll of otherwise circulated 1941-D Lincolns. This one is pushing MS-67 and has the very nice reverse doubled die. Even if it would just go 66 it's a dandy.

Is it DDR where the stems of the wheat are ?
I'm still learning about these and could use help seeing what you see.

Very nice looking coin though!

It's not where the wheat stems are, but how thick they are. These are nearly twice as thick as normal due to the doubling. Also fairly easy places to see this type of doubled die are on the dots, which are ovals instead of dots, and on the horizontal bits of the EPU such as the base of the E, L and the U's which are much too thick as well.

Ohhhhh, I see now, I always look for "extra" lettering/image and never think about just the thickness of them being a sign of DD.
Thanks for the explanation tropicalbats.

Really nice variety with exceptional obverse fields but IMHO think the dings on his lip, chin and in front of the ear will keep this in the 65 range.

I like how those dots can resemble beer barrels on some examples of extreme class 6 double dies.

Beautiful coin. Your right about finding a nice coin and it actually doesn't have ender damage or just something small wrong that ruins it. But finding one like this MS and DDR. Congrats.
