It's been way too long since I last checked this out... amazing to hear it's all still optimistic! Seeing those die features also made me think it might've been too inconspicuous to be on a counterfeit... looking good.

After spending the last hour reading through the 25 pages of posts on this thread, I'm truly fascinated with the journey the OP has been on, and with the great contributions so many CCF members have made to the discussion. Though I'm an old numismatist, I'm a new member of this community, and it's been great seeing how the vast majority of participants are so helpful and willing to share their expertise. I've never collected colonial coins, but I'll be anxiously waiting with everyone else to see how this eventually turns out!

Checking back in. Great to hear it's in Stacks Bowers hands, it's safe with them and they'll know how to authenticate it. Lars isn't gonna forget to update us at this point. Eagerly awaiting the conclusion.
