Hi, I would appreciate your advice.. when going through things left to me by a relative I found the below coin made into a pendant. It is lovely as a pendant but is it a travesty in terms of the potential value of the coin. Would you have a view on the value of it on this format or has it ceased all appeal to a coin collector? Would it be silver?
Many Thanks

Welcome to Numista!

No numismatic value in this condition, but may have some jewelry value (or bullion value, if silver).

Thank you, I thought that was likely the case. I would appreciate any information you may have on the original coin.

I also have a Kuwait is Free 1991 first anniversary coin in a plastic (slightly damaged box) would you have a view on that?

Many thanks for your help

The photos would need to be cropped and/or enlargeable to identify the coin and whether it is silver.

The Kuwaiti coin is Copper-Nickel.

I actually collect these kinds of items as part of my exonumia collection. Of course I would pick them up in junk boxes, and not pay anything significant for them.

The original coin is very common and worth less than $1 in circulation condition. So don't cry too much over this one. Save the tears for a greater travesty!
